Cancer Decoded: From Genes to Tumours presents a comprehensive exploration of cancer biology, tracing its origins from genetic alterations to complex tumor systems. The book demystifies how disruptions at the molecular level translate into uncontrolled cellular behavior, tumor progression, and systemic disease.
It highlights critical aspects such as genetic mutations, signaling pathways, tumor microenvironment interactions, and immune responses, while also examining evolving therapeutic strategies including targeted therapies and biomimetic approaches. By connecting fundamental science with clinical relevance, the book offers a translational perspective essential for modern oncology research and practice.
The book progresses from core genetic principles to advanced tumor biology, enabling readers to build a strong conceptual foundation while engaging with current research developments.
This book is ideal for postgraduate students, researchers, clinicians, and professionals in biotechnology, biomedical sciences, and oncology. It serves as both a foundational guide and a forward-looking resource for those seeking to understand cancer through the lens of cutting-edge science and real-world application.
Dr. Deepa Suhag is a Biomaterials scientist and Associate Professor at the Amity School of Applied Sciences, Amity University Haryana, India.
