He was appointed as Assistant Scientist (2010), and promoted to Scientist I (2011) and Scientist II (2013), respectively, in Machining Technology Group at Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, Singapore. He joined in Shandong University of Technology, China as a full professor in 2017. His current research interests include precision\/ultra-precision machining theory and technology. He has more than 130 papers published in peer-reviewed journals and holds 35 patents. He was awarded the Fund supported by Taishan Scholar Programme of Shandong Province, China (2018\u0026amp;2024). He served as an Editorial Board Member of 5 Journals, and a Reviewer for more than 50 prestigious journals.
