This book explores the role of digital platforms in enhancing bioenergy production systems. It focuses on how digital tools support the transition from traditional methods to more efficient, data-driven, and sustainable bioenergy solutions. Rather than explaining the science of bioenergy, the book highlights the digital transformation shaping its production, application, and market dynamics.
The chapters begin with an introduction to digital platforms in bioenergy and their strategic approach. It then discusses emerging digital opportunities and their influence on the bioenergy market. The book analyzes the economic impact of digital integration and evaluates global success stories. It explains the importance of digital markets in improving production efficiency and sustainability. A dedicated chapter explores available software tools and their practical use in real-world bioenergy systems. The comparison between batch and pilot-scale production highlights the role of digital tools in scaling operations. The final chapters cover current trends, ongoing developments, and the future of digital-bioenergy integration on a global scale.
This book is a useful resource for researchers, professionals, and students in bioenergy, biotechnology, environmental science, and industrial sustainability. It also supports policymakers and industry stakeholders seeking to understand the digital shift in renewable energy systems.
