He held some key academic positions of Editorial Secretary for Journal of Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons and has the credit of getting the journal PubMed indexed during his tenure. He is also the past secretary of Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons which is the custodian of Pediatric Surgery activities in India. He is the current Chairman of Pediatric Endoscopic Surgeons of India (as of May 2026). His specialty is neonatal laparoscopy and has a log of over 150 robotic cases with the Da Vinci system.
