The author pursued his B.Sc. from Kashmir University and a Masters in Environmental Science from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University, India. He made significant contributions to plant science covering plant biotechnology, mutation breeding, stress tolerance and novel biopolymer.
