Dr. Amitava Bandyopadhyay is a Professor at the University of Calcutta specializing in Mass Transfer and Environmental Engineering. He holds a B.Sc. and B.Tech. from the University of Calcutta and an M.Tech. and Ph.D. from IIT Kharagpur. His career includes positions as an environmental engineer, associate professor at AIT Bangkok, and various research roles. His research focuses on air pollution control, advanced wastewater treatment, and waste management.
Dr. Ayodya Tenggara is a lecturer in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). He received Ph.D. degree from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. His expertise is in nanofabrication, additive manufacturing, and terahertz metamaterials. Before joining UGM, he worked as a a research engineer in Enjet Inc. for development of electrohydrodynamic (EHD) jet printing for semiconductor and display applications. Recently, he is developing metamaterials in terahertz and optical spectrum for communication devices and energy harvesting.
Dr. Jundika Candra Kurnia is Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering and Science Faculty of Engineering and Science, Curtin University, Malaysia. He was Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering department and Head of Green Hydrogen Technology Center (GHTeC) and Solar Thermal Advanced Research Center (STARC), Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS. Prior to these academic appointments, he was post-doctoral researcher in Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (now Khalifa University) Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and post-doctoral research fellow in Mineral Metal Material Technology Center, National University of Singapore. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from National University of Singapore.
Dr. M. Arif Efendi is a lecturer in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). He earned his Bachelor's degree (S.Si.) from Institut Pertanian Bogor, his Master's degree (M.Sc.) from Prince of Songkla University, Thailand, and his Ph.D. from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Before joining UGM, he worked as a medical physicist in Thailand, gaining valuable expertise in clinical practices and research. His research focuses on medical physics, radiotherapy, Monte Carlo simulations, and microdosimetry. He has contributed to numerous publications in his field, inspiring advancements in medical radiation physics and dosimetry.
Mr. Yakub Fahim Luckyarno is finishing his Ph.D study in the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering at the Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech), South Korea. He is also a faculty member at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. His research interests include instrumentation, soft computing, system design and optimization. He is currently working on the optimization of a cloud virtual reality streaming system using reinforcement learning methods.
Mr. Gandha Satria Adi is a PhD candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea, under the supervision of Professor Inkyu Park. His research focuses on applying machine learning to develop multidirectional sensors for healthcare and smart robotic grasping applications. Additionally, he is working on the development of soft haptic feedback systems to enhance immersion in virtual reality.
