Dr. Ilham Ben Amor is an Associate Professor in the Department of Process Engineering and Petrochemistry, Faculty of Technology, University of El Oued, Algeria. She has published several research papers in high-impact international journals on green nanomaterials, bionanocomposites, and biopolymers, with applications in water treatment, biomedical engineering, sustainable packaging, and environmental remediation. She is an active reviewer for many reputable journals. Her research interests include the green synthesis of nanomaterials, biopolymer-based nanocomposites, waste-to-value conversion, and sustainable environmental technologies.

Dr. Mohammed Messaoudi completed his PhD at Echahid Hamma Lakhdar University, El Oued, Algeria. He is an expert in the fields of food and agricultural sciences, as well as the application of the INAA technique for the determination of trace elements in foodstuffs and other materials. His main research interest is the assessment of the impact of climatic and soil factors on the quality of raw materials and plant products. He is the author of over 90 scientific publications in the fields of medicinal plants, foodstuffs, and the assessment of the food and pharmaceutical industries. He is a member of the editorial boards of several scientific journals.

Prof. Abdelkrim Rebiai was born in El Oued, Algeria, in 1980. He graduated from the Department of Chemistry, University of Ouargla, in 2004 and received his M.Sc. degree in 2010. He joined the research group of Prof. Touhami Lanez at the Laboratory of Valorization and Technology of Sahara Resources (VTRS), El Oued, and received his Ph.D. degree in 2016 from the University of Ouargla. He joined the Department of Chemistry at the University of El Oued as an Assistant Professor in 2010, was promoted to Associate Professor in 2016, and to Professor in 2022.

Prof. Barbara Sawicka completed her PhD and habilitation at the Agricultural University of Lublin (Poland). She is a Full Professor at the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Faculty of Agrobioengineering. Her research focuses on the yield variability of cultivated plant varieties, the quality of plant raw materials, food safety, and the commodity science of plant raw materials. She is the author of 1,090 publications, 28 books, and 2 patents. She has supervised more than 450 engineering and master's theses and 11 doctoral dissertations. She is the editor or co-editor of four scientific journals and a member of three scientific societies.
