Reddy is a professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), USA, where he directs the Sustainable Engineering Research Laboratory (SERL) and the Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering Laboratory (GAGEL). With over 25 years of experience in research, teaching, and consulting, Dr. Reddy’s work spans across civil, geotechnical, materials, and environmental engineering. His research focuses on sustainability, infrastructure, water, energy, and environmental engineering, particularly in urban settings. His areas of expertise include environmental remediation of soils, sediments, and groundwater, solid and hazardous waste management, engineering applications of recycled materials, life cycle assessment, sustainable and resilient engineering, and geotechnical engineering. Dr. Reddy has published over 300 journal papers, authored four books, and edited over 40 books and conference proceedings. Dr. Reddy has received numerous accolades, including the UIC Distinguished Researcher Award, the ASCE Wesley W. Horner Award, and the ASTM Hogentogler Award.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eDr. Anil Joseph is a distinguished geotechnical and structural consultant with over three decades of experience in foundation and structural engineering. He completed his B.E. (Civil) and M.E. (Civil) from R.E.C. Surat and earned his Ph.D. from NIT Calicut, specializing in precompression of soft marine clays. He also holds an MBA from ICFAI University, Tripura. Dr. Joseph has provided consultancy for over 3,500 high-rise structures, contributing to many landmark multistorey and infrastructure projects in India and abroad. Notable projects include a bridge for the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, the Emirates Apartments in Dubai, Bible Tower in Thrissur, Grand Hyatt Hotel in Kochi, and an IT park for UST Global in Thiruvananthapuram. He leads the firm's CECONS Pvt. Ltd., GeoStructurals Pvt. Ltd., and Engineers Diagnostic Centre Pvt. Ltd., specializing in piling, geotechnical and structural consultancy, soil investigation, retrofitting, and materials testing. He is serving as the Vice President Asia of the International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering for the term 2026–2030. He also serves as the President of the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS) for the 2023–2026 term.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eDr. P. T. Ravichandran is currently working as a professor and head of the Department of Civil Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur Campus. He holds a B.E. With over three decades of experience in academics and research, he has made significant contributions to geotechnical engineering, bio-geo technology, sustainable materials, and environmental geotechnology. His research focuses on soil stabilization using natural waste materials, pavement engineering, and geopolymer concrete. He has published over 150 research articles, authored three textbooks, and holds five patents. He has successfully guided 12 Ph.D. scholars and is currently mentoring six more. As a principal investigator, he leads a ₹5.09 crore funded project under the National Technical Textile Mission (NTTM), Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India.Dr. V. Janani, currently an assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), specializes in Geotechnical Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from SRMIST (2023), an M.E. in Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering from CEG Anna University, Chennai (2012), and a B.E. in Civil Engineering from Kongu Engineering College, Anna University (2010). With over a decade of academic experience, she has been a part of SRMIST since 2012, initially as an assistant professor (OG) and later advancing to her current role in 2017.
