Aldo Morales has been a faculty member at Penn State Harrisburg (PSH) since August 2001 and currently serves as a Professor in the Electrical Engineering and Electrical Engineering Technology programs. He has organized and co-organized several international conferences and was featured in Penn State Outreach Magazine, which recognized his efforts in providing opportunities for the community and regional industries to enhance their skills in electrical engineering. His research interests include signal integrity, FPGA implementation for high-speed applications, communications, signal and image processing, video processing, wavelets, mathematical morphology, nonlinear signal processing, and neural networks. Dr. Morales has authored numerous publications in these areas.

Hiroyuki Tomiyama received his B.E., M.E., and D.E. degrees in Computer Science from Kyushu University, Japan, in 1994, 1996, and 1999, respectively. From 1999 to 2001, he was a Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Embedded Computer Systems, University of California, Irvine. He subsequently worked as a Researcher at the Institute of Systems & Information Technologies in Kyushu from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, he joined the Graduate School of Information Science at Nagoya University as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2004. Since 2010, he has been a Full Professor in the College of Science and Engineering at Ritsumeikan University.

Shivakumar B.R. earned his Ph.D. in Digital Image Processing and Remote Sensing from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, India. His research focuses on the extraction of Land Use and Land Cover (LULC) information from high- and medium-resolution multispectral remote sensing data. With more than a decade of academic experience, Dr. Shivakumar has served in teaching and research positions at several reputed institutions. Dr. Shivakumar has published numerous papers in indexed journals and conference proceedings and has received several best paper awards. His interdisciplinary expertise spans geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, electronics engineering, and machine learning applications in geospatial analysis.
