He has organized and co-organized several international conferences and was featured in \u003cem\u003ePenn State Outreach Magazine\u003c\/em\u003e, which recognized his efforts in providing opportunities for the community and regional industries to enhance their skills in electrical engineering. His research interests include signal integrity, FPGA implementation for high-speed applications, communications, signal and image processing, video processing, wavelets, mathematical morphology, nonlinear signal processing, and neural networks. Dr. Morales has authored numerous publications in these areas.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHiroyuki Tomiyama\u003c\/strong\u003e received his B.E., M.E., and D.E. degrees in Computer Science from Kyushu University, Japan, in 1994, 1996, and 1999, respectively. From 1999 to 2001, he was a Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Embedded Computer Systems, University of California, Irvine. He subsequently worked as a Researcher at the Institute of Systems \u0026amp; Information Technologies in Kyushu from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, he joined the Graduate School of Information Science at Nagoya University as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2004. Since 2010, he has been a Full Professor in the College of Science and Engineering at Ritsumeikan University.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eShivakumar B.R.\u003c\/strong\u003e earned his Ph.D. in Digital Image Processing and Remote Sensing from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, India. His research focuses on the extraction of Land Use and Land Cover (LULC) information from high- and medium-resolution multispectral remote sensing data. With more than a decade of academic experience, Dr. Shivakumar has served in teaching and research positions at several reputed institutions. Dr. Shivakumar has published numerous papers in indexed journals and conference proceedings and has received several best paper awards.
