This book presents select proceedings of the International Symposium on Smart Mobility for Differently Abled (SMDA 2025). It examines challenges for differently abled such as non-ambulatory, semi-ambulatory, heard-of-hearing, and visually impaired users while commuting for work or leisurely activities in cities. It explores methodologies for evaluating the challenges and also explores a possible plan of action for improving the situation. The topics include situation analysis of cities for inclusive mobility, accessible public transport and associated infrastructure, policy framework and collaborative partnership for accessible design initiatives and also analytical tools, techniques and products for smart mobility. This book overall discusses the evaluative framework and executional strategies for fulfilling the ultimate goal of smart and inclusive mobility for cities. This book is a valuable reference for a broad domain of researchers and professionals interested in smart and inclusive mobility planning, design, and execution.
