This volume comprises chapters from the proceedings of the UiTM International Conference on Mathematical Sciences 2024 (UICMS 2024), hosted by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, on October 12–13, 2024. Dr. Iskandar Shah Mohd Zawawi is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. He obtained B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics, M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics, and Ph.D. in Numerical Analysis from Universiti Putra Malaysia.He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics, M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics, and Ph.D. in Numerical Analysis from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Following his graduation, he began his position as a lecturer at the UiTM Negeri Sembilan, Seremban campus. He subsequently commenced the role of postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Informatics and Computing in Energy, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia.
Dr. Noor Azzah Awang holds a Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences, Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees at UiTM Shah Alam, Malaysia. She also completed her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees at UiTM Shah Alam, building a strong foundation in mathematical sciences.Her research integrates fuzzy mathematics, neutrosophic set theory, multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM), aggregation operators, and uncertainty modeling, with a focus on both theoretical development and real-world application.
Dr. Nur Tasnem Jaaffar serves at the UiTM, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. She obtained PhD in Computational Mathematics from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics from Universiti Sains Malaysia.She obtained her PhD in Computational Mathematics from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her research expertise lies in numerical analysis, particularly multistep and block methods for solving delay differential equations and mathematical modelling.
Dr. Adibah Shuib is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Earlier, she held various administrative posts including Deputy Dean (Academic) and Deputy Dean (Resources and Research) of Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, UiTM and Deputy Director (Research & Education) of the Malaysia Institute of Transport (MITRANS) and the Head of Strategic Planning for the Centre of Strategic Planning and Information, UiTM. She received her B.Sc. (Mathematics) and M.Sc. (Computational and Applied Mathematics) from the Old Dominion University, Virginia, USA, and Ph.D. (Mathematics and Statistics) from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, specializing in management mathematics and operations research
