Shouguo Wang
Dr. Shouguo Wang received his PhD in 1997 from the Institute of Plasma Physics (IPP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He worked as an associate professor at the Department of Physics, Shandong University, China from 1997 to 1999. He did post-doctoral work from 1999 to 2003 at the Institute of Laser and Plasma Physics, ESSEN University, Germany. During 2003~2013, he worked as a Specially Appointed Professor of China's Hundred Talents Program at the Institute of Microelectronics, CAS. During 2013~ 2017, he worked as a Specially Appointed Expert of China's National Thousand Talents Plan at IPP, CAS. During 2017~ 2022, he led the establishment of the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research at Qilu University of Technology, China. In 2022 and 2023, he was named Academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Engineering and the Russian Academy of Engineering, respectively. He has been engaged in many research projects on low-temperature plasma applications, especially in the development of different types of plasma medical devices.
Rungong Yang
Dr. Yang Rungong graduated from the First Military Medical University, China in 1989 and has been the Administrative Director of the Department of Tissue Regeneration and Wound Repair at the First Medical Center of PLA General Hospital, China since 2020. As a team leader for wound repair at a state key lab and a key military research lab, he dedicates to the practice and promotion of wound repair with Chinese characteristics. His "6R" principle for chronic osteomyelitis has been widely used with positive outcomes. He served as a medical expert in UN peacekeeping missions in Africa and has participated in poverty alleviation campaigns. In plasma medicine, he developed a solar powered plasma membrane dressing and conducted studies on the role and mechanisms of low temperature atmospheric pressure plasma in diabetic wounds.
Qiang He
Dr. Qiang He obtained his PhD in 2003 from the School of Medicine, Zhejiang University (SMZU), China and was a visiting scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2008. From 1996 to 2012, he worked at the Nephrology Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of SMZU. He served as the director of the Nephrology Department at Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital from 2013 to 2021. Since 2021, he works at Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. As a nephrology expert, he was proficient in the treatment of refractory nephropathy, quality management of hemodialysis, management of kidney transplantation surgery and its complications, and the exploration of innovative diagnostic markers for kidney blood, urine and tissue.
Xiaobing Fu
Xiaobing Fu, MD PhD, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, (Division of Medicine and Health), Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Traditional Medical Sciences; President of the Key Laboratory for Wound Repair and Regeneration, Medical Innovation Research Department, the PLA General Hospital and PLA Medical College, China.
He has made significant contributions trauma research, especially in growth factors and stem cell biology, tissue repair and regenerative medicine. He is the founder of the Chinese characteristic wound repair discipline system.
He is former committee member of the First to the Fifth World Union of Wound Healing Societies Congresses. He served as Chairman of the Chinese Trauma Society from 2010 to 2013, and is Chairman of the Asian Wound Care Association, the President of Chinese Society for Biomaterials, the President of the Chinese Tissue Repair Society, and the President of the Chinese Tissue Repair and Regeneration Society.
Professor Fu was awarded the International Lifetime Achievement Award in Wound Repair and Regeneration in 2008.
