Louise Jones is a dedicated nursing professional with over a decade of experience in the healthcare field. She began her career in 2011 as a Recovery Practitioner, where she honed her skills in patient care and clinical practice. In 2017, Louise was promoted to the position of Junior Sister, demonstrating her leadership abilities and commitment to excellence in nursing. In 2020, Louise transitioned into education, taking on the role of Practice Education Facilitator. In this capacity, she supports both nursing students and staff, providing essential guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth and development. Her passion for education and support is further exemplified by her work with an online university, where she started in 2022 as an Practice Tutor. In this role, Louise supports students in the practice element of their nursing courses, ensuring they meet the necessary competencies and excel in their clinical placements.

Elis-Llyr Treharne is a qualified Adult Nurse and Graduate Entry Medicine student at Swansea University. He graduated with a BSc in Adult Nursing in 2025 and has since gained clinical experience across acute and intensive care settings. His experiences as a neurodivergent nursing student, registered nurse, and now medical student have shaped his interest in how individuals with specific learning differences (SpLD) are supported throughout healthcare education and clinical practice. Alongside his clinical training, Elis-Llyr has experience in education, leadership and coaching. This has included teaching first aid and coaching paddlesports to children and adults with learning difficulties and SpLD, developing his experience of adapting teaching and communication to individual needs. Drawing upon his experiences as both a learner and healthcare professional, Elis-Llyr brings a lived and clinical perspective to supporting neurodivergent students and professionals within healthcare.
