The International Conference on Technology 4 Education (T4E) 2025 serves as a premier forum for researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals to discuss innovations in educational technology and the challenges associated with its adoption. In 2025 the conference focused on eight major themes: Emerging Technologies to Support Education, Technology to Understand Human Learning, Pedagogical Strategies and Interventions, Access, Scale, and Sustainability, Culture and Technology, Out-of-School and Informal Learning, Education for Sustainable Development Goals, and Equitable and Accountable Use of Technology. The conference called for papers in original research and experience report tracks. This book is volume 2 of the proceedings of T4E 2025, including the short papers in both these tracks.

Sahana Murthy is a Professor in the Centre for Educational Technology at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. Her research interest is in the learning of disciplinary practices, which includes developing students' problem-solving, design thinking, and inquiry practices in STEM domains via interactive technology enhanced learning environments. Sahana's other area of focus is in the effective use of technologies by teachers that has led to the design of pedagogical models and faculty professional development programs. She has contributed to the EdTech Tulna initiative, a quality evaluation index for edtech products adopted by state governments in India. She is currently serving as a board member of the International Society of the Learning Sciences.

Aditi Kothiyal is an assistant teaching professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar, where she researches how hands-on work and making leads to learning, and educational robotics interventions to support such learning. Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the CHILI lab in EPFL, working in the areas of multimodal learning analytics and educational robotics. She obtained her PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India and MS from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. Her research interests lie at the boundaries of STEM education, educational technologies, and learning sciences.

Sugat Dabholkar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Science Education at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune. Sugat Dabholkar obtained his PhD in Learning Sciences from Northwestern University, USA. As a Learning Scientist, Sugat partners with teachers and educators to design and study curricula in schools and undergraduate classrooms. A key strand of his work is to explore how technological and pedagogical innovations can be co-designed to support students’ epistemic agency—their ability to actively construct and critique knowledge as they learn and do science. His research work also investigates how students learn science as they navigate their identities and values within educational environments. Central to his research and design approach is working with students and teachers from diverse backgrounds to honor and integrate context-specific funds of knowledge into curricular design.

Kapil B. Kadam is an EdTech researcher and practitioner with a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at D. Y. Patil College of Engineering and Technology, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. His research interests include educational technology practice, computer science education, and learning analytics. He is also an executive member of the EdTech Society, India. Previously, he has served as Senior Manager (Digital Learning, Learning and Outcomes) at Sunstone Eduversity, EdTech Specialist at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), Chief Program Manager (STEM Project) at Navnirmiti Eduquality, Chief Education Officer at UdaanShiksha, and Project Research Scientist at IIT Bombay.

Jayakrishnan M Warriem is currently Head of Education Technology and Research at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras Bachelor of Science (BS) Program, where he leads initiatives in online learning design and educational innovation. Previously, he served as Senior Scientist at NPTEL, IIT Madras, focusing on Learning Analytics and large-scale online certification programs. With a PhD from IIT Bombay in Educational Technology, Jayakrishnan's research centers on Teacher Professional Development (TPD) and ICT integration in higher education. He co-designed the Learner-Centric MOOC model, which has influenced thousands of educators through courses on platforms like SWAYAM and NPTEL.
