This book presents selected research contributions from the Research & Industrial Conclave (RIC 2025), held at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Dr. Pradip K. Das is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. He also serves as the Head of the Centre for Drone Technology at IIT Guwahati. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Delhi and joined IIT Guwahati in 1998. His research interests lie in the broad domains of Speech Processing, Man-Machine Intelligence Systems, Drone Technology, Algorithms, Software Engineering, Smart Devices, and Mobile Robotics. He has contributed significantly to these areas through his scholarly work, which includes 13 journal publications and 5 books published by Springer. Under his guidance, 9 students have successfully completed their Ph.D., and several M.Tech. students have also graduated. Apart from his academic pursuits, Dr. Das has actively contributed to institutional and national-level initiatives. He served as the Organizing Vice Chairman for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) in 2009. He is also a member of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), contributing his expertise in technology-driven healthcare systems.

Dr. Phrangboklang Lyngton Thangkhiew is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Enginnering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Assam, India. He received his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India, in 2014, and completed his Ph.D. at NIT Meghalaya, India, in 2019. He previously served as an Assistant Professor at VIT Chennai, India, from 2020 to 2021, and subsequently worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India, from October 2021 to January 2022. Following this, he assumed the role of Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati, India. He has authored numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, focusing on research areas such as memristors and their applications in logic design, synthesis, design optimization, in-memory computing, and neuromorphic computing.

Dr. Debanga Raj Neog is an Assistant Professor at the Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia Vancouver, Canada, and his B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. He has over 14 years of experience in leading academic and industrial projects in the areas of computer vision, computer graphics, and machine learning. He has received several awards and recognitions for his work, such as the Young Scientist Award by Assam Science Technology and Environment Council (India), the Mitacs Globalink Research Award - INRIA (Canada and France), and the Four Year Doctoral Fellowship at UBC (Canada). Before joining IIT Guwahati in September 2021, he was a co-founder of Nytilus Inc., a Toronto-based computational imaging startup for industrial applications. He has published his research work in reputed journals such as ACM Transaction on Graphics, Expert Systems with Applications, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, and IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence. Besides teaching and research, Dr. Neog has a passion for traveling, lends expertise to AI startups as an advisor, and is actively involved in social outreach activities, including the National Service Scheme (NSS).
