This book showcases cutting-edge research in Micro/Nanoelectronics Devices, Circuits, and Systems, presented at the 6th International Conference, MNDCS 2026 held from January 29–31, 2026, at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar in Assam, India. The volume highlights innovations that are shaping the next generation of electronic technologies. Covering semiconductor physics, quantum electronics, advanced transistors (FinFET, TFET, beyond-CMOS, III-V HEMT), 2D materials, spintronics, nanotechnology, and flexible electronics, the volume explores breakthroughs from devices to system-level integration. The book focuses on topics such as VLSI circuits, system-on-chip (SoC), reconfigurable architectures, FPGA-based design, bioelectronics, MEMS/NEMS, sensors, actuators, nanogenerators, energy harvesting, IoT/IoE smart systems, and robotics. The integration of AI/ML across devices, circuits, and microsystems is emphasized as a driver of performance, reliability, and intelligent functionality. This is a valuable resource for researchers, engineers, professionals, and graduate students, as it provides insights into emerging materials, advanced devices, circuit innovations, and system solutions for applications spanning industry, healthcare, energy, and next-generation smart technologies.

Trupti Ranjan Lenka is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Silchar, India, with more than 25 years of academic and research experience. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, Fellow of IETE and IEI. He received his Ph.D. in Microelectronics Engineering from Sambalpur University (2012), M. Tech. in VLSI Design from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (2007), and B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Berhampur University (2000). He has held international research positions at Texas Tech University, USA (2024–2025), the New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA (2019), and the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore at National University of Singapore (2018). His research interests include micro/nanoelectronics, wide- and ultra-wide-bandgap semiconductor devices, nanotechnology, energy harvesting, photovoltaics, and VLSI design. He has authored more than 295 research publications, edited nine books, supervised 17 Ph.D. and 28 M.Tech. theses, holds four patents, and has implemented 13 sponsored research projects. He has delivered more than 40 invited and plenary talks worldwide and serves as an elected Member of the IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS) Board of Governors. He has also served as Guest Editor of Microsystem Technologies Journal (SI: MNDCS 2024-2026).

Jacopo Iannacci received his MSc (2003) and PhD (2007) from the University of Bologna, Italy, and is a Senior Member of IEEE since 2021. He holds national habilitations as Associate and Full Professor in Electronics, since 2017 and 2021. Since 2007, he has been a researcher at Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Trento, Italy. He worked at the Technical University of Delft, the Netherlands, in 2005-2006, and at the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration IZM in Berlin, Germany, in 2016. His work focuses on modeling, design, integration, and testing of MEMS and RF-MEMS devices for 5G, IoT, 6G, and energy harvesting. He has authored over 200 publications and one patent. Dr. Iannacci serves as Associate Editor and Co-Editor in Chief for the Springer Microsystem Technologies, Series Editor for IEEE ComMag, and is a 2025-2026 Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE ComSoc. He has been active in leading roles at conferences including IEEE Sensors, 5GWF, SPIE Microtechnologies.

P. Susthitha Menon is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics (IMEN), National University of Malaysia (UKM). She earned her B.Eng. (Hons) and M.Sc. in Microelectronics from UKM, and her Ph.D. in Optoelectronics with Distinction from IMEN (2008), specializing in InGaAs/InP p-i-n photodiodes. She previously worked at Intel Malaysia as a Product Engineer (1999–2002) and later as a postdoctoral fellow at IMEN, focusing on GaAs/InP-based long-wavelength VCSELs. Dr. Menon has led four national research projects, co-led an international project, and authored four book chapters, more than 200 publications, and four patents. Her research interests include plasmonics, nanophotonics, optoelectronic devices, optical sensing, and robust engineering optimization. She is a Senior Member of IEEE. She served as Chair of Women in Electron Devices and is currently a member of the IEEE Electron Devices Society Board of Governors and Vice President of Educational Activities.
