Dr. Sanjay M. Vaidya is a highly distinguished Plastic and Diabetic Foot Surgeon based in Mumbai, India, with over 38 years of medical experience. He is widely recognized for his pioneering work in comprehensive advanced wound management, limb salvage, and complex foot surgical procedures. He is Consultant Plastic & Diabetic Foot Surgeon at S. L. Raheja Hospital and P. D. Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai, India.

He has studied MBBS, MS in General Surgery, and MCh in Plastic Surgery from the prestigious Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai, India and has done Post Graduate Diploma in Laser Medicine from Russia.

He is Professor for Fellowship in Diabetic Foot Surgery under the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, (MUHS). He is Treasurer of Diabetic Foot Society of India (DFSI), President of Podiatric Surgeons Society of India (PSSI) and Vice President of Asia Pacific Association for Diabetic Foot Problems (APADLP).

He was Project Manager for national initiative of Diabetic Foot Society of India with World Diabetes Foundation - “National Wound Care Project” across India. He was member of the group to develop Standard Treatment Guidelines for Diabetic Foot, by the Ministry of Health, Government of India.

He has been a regular faculty at national and international scientific meetings and conferences. He has received Guinness World Record Award for participating in foot sensation testing pan India conducted by Diabetic Foot Society of India.

He is the Founder of “Feet First Clinic - Advanced Foot Care and Wound Management Centre”.
