Strategies for Individuals with Special Education Needs
Pennee Narot | Narong Kiettikunwong
This book addresses the pressing need for effective educational strategies tailored to adults with special education needs. It fills a critical gap in existing literature by focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities associated with adult special education, an area that has received less attention compared to special education for children and adolescents. It explores various strategies and methodologies that can enhance learning outcomes for this demographic, considering the diverse and complex needs of adult learners. With its focus on empirical research and evidence-based practices, this book presents results from studies and pilot programs that have shown promise in improving educational outcomes for adults with special needs. Detailed case studies and real-world applications of various educational strategies also illustrate how theoretical concepts can be effectively translated into practice, providing readers with concrete examples of successful interventions. Additionally, this book includes comprehensive reviews of technologies and tools that can be leveraged to support adult learners, such as adaptive learning platforms and mobile learning applications. Covering a broad range of topics including cognitive and behavioral interventions, assistive technologies, and inclusive teaching practices, this book provides educators, policymakers, and researchers with comprehensive insights and practical tools to support adult learners with special needs.
