The book delves into the innovation and application of cutting-edge solutions in the field of materials, construction techniques, emergency responses, transportation, logistics, urban mobilities, and policies toward building sustainable and resilient infrastructures. Furthermore, the book highlights the numerous benefits of sustainable and resilient infrastructures in terms of enhanced resiliency, sustainability and emergency responses, disaster control, and improved policies and governance. The book presents examples of how sustainable and resistant infrastructures are effectively used in the real world, based on case studies from various global contexts. The book is a valuable reference for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers looking for resilient and sustainable ways to deal with various types of disasters that society faces in the twenty-first century.

Dr. Yogeshwar V.
