His doctoral thesis is entitled “Characterization of LDPE-matriced Composites Reinforced by Fibers from Zalacca (Zalacca Edulis) Midribs.” Currently, he serves as an associate professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta, Indonesia. Besides his position as a lecturer, he is a member of the Non-metallic Materials Engineering and Processing Research Group in Universitas Sebelas Maret. He has some research interests in engineering materials, especially ceramics and composites.
