His research area is design and management of Environmental Sanitation Machinery. He is the Honorary Chairman of Chinese Construction Machinery Society, and founder and Chairman of Environmental Sanitation Branch of Chinese Construction Machinery Society.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eXie Weixian served as Senior Engineer and Associate Division Head of Shanghai Landscaping and City Appearance Administrative Bureau from 1985 to 2016. His research area is technology and design of Waste Transfer Machinery.
