Yan Cheng, associate professor of Chengdu University of Technology. She once taught Chinese in a British school for one year. With over 10 years of expertise in English-Chinese bilingual translation, she has translated more than 1.2 million words. She served as copyeditor of the English edition Social Work for Poverty Alleviation, published by Springer in 2024. Her translated publications also include Journey of the Pink Dolphins and The Rising Sea. Holding an MA in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics (Translation Studies), she is a repeated winner of the Tianfu Translation Award. Yao Zhou, MTI student of Chengdu University of Technology. She is a recipient of a multiple university-level and professional scholarships, with experience in English teaching and translation. She has participated in a number of translation projects and foreign language corpus construction research. With extensive volunteer experience, including providing English translation services for international conferences and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival, she has demonstrated comprehensive competencies with particular strengths in communication, organization, and critical thinking.
