A Visvesvaraya PhD Fellow from NEHU with postdoctoral experience at the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Kolkata, he specializes in lightweight cryptography, multimedia security, and IoT authentication, with an impressive research portfolio including 20+ SCI-indexed publications in prestigious journals (IEEE Transactions, ACM TOMM, Elsevier), 2 authored books, 2 patents, and supervision of 4 PhD scholars (3 awarded, 1 ongoing). His international research credentials include an invited visit to Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore (2024), IRIS Program Fellowship from the Embassy of Japan (2019–2020), and collaborations with researchers across six countries. He served as the organizing chair for MICA 2023. He has served as a co-editor for the “Special Issue on Recent Advances in IoT and Its Applications” in IEEE MMTC Communication Frontier. He is a senior member of IEEE and CRSI.
