He is the coordinator at the Innovation Center and Technology for Sustainability (NITS \/ UFF) and is an expert in Sustainability and Energy Efficiency in Buildings. He is a respected member of the Social Responsibility Commission at the Brazilian Institute of Oil, Gas, and Biofuels (IBP).
