Prior to that, he was a Lecturer at Curtin University (Australia, 2012-15). His research interests are in the areas of planning, control and optimization of electrical distribution systems, microgrids, smart grids, power systems and distributed energy resources.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eProfessor Fushuan Wen received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University (China) in 1991. He has been Full Professor and Director of the Institute of Power Economics and Information since 1997 and the Director of Zhejiang University-Insigma Joint Research Center for Smart Grids since 2010.
