His research focuses on the depth of anaesthesia monitoring and brain ultrasound. He has published more than 100 papers and many book chapters in peer-reviewed national and international journals of anesthesiology, critical care, and neurosurgery and delivered many lectures at various conferences. He has served in many scientific subcommittees for the European Society of Anesthesiology and was appointed board representative at the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine from 2015 to 2018.
