Anarchafeminist Horizons at the End of Gender
Praxis Across Movements, Solidarities Across Borders
Nathan Poirier | Zane McNeill
Social Science / Gender Studies
While numerous feminisms have gained mainstream attention, most are theoretically and practically incapable of liberating all those they seek to include. This book makes two unique contributions. First, it extends the anarchafeminist theory of Chiara Bottici's Anarchafeminism. Second, con tributors draw multiple direct connections between anarchafeminism and Black Studies, particularly Black feminism, Black anarchism, and abolition. Too much anarchist theory and practice has overlooked or downplayed gender, racial, or colonial concerns. This book (re)asserts the importance of imbuing feminism with anarchism, and anarchism with feminism, for a coherent theory of liberation.
