Pradeep Kumar Panda is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, Yuan Ze University, Taiwan. He earned his PhD from Chang Gung University, Taiwan, in 2021 and worked at Yonsei University, South Korea, as a postdoctoral researcher. His field of research encompasses
sustainable nanomaterials, wastewater treatment, photocatalyst, biopolymeric materials, surface engineering, electrochemical catalyst, energy device, polymer science, and biomaterials. He has been serving as an associate editor for the Energy Materials section of Frontiers in Materials since September 2026. Till now (May 2026), he has published nine book chapters, 50 SCI papers, one edited book, and three patents.

Arpan Kumar Nayak earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT‑KGP). He was a postdoctoral fellow at Hanyang University, South Korea, and a research professor at the Department of Energy Engineering, Konkuk University, Republic of Korea. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the Regional
Institute of Education (NCERT), Mysuru, India. His research focuses on the synthesis of various nanostructured materials and carbon‑based materials in environmental and energy applications.

Chien‑Te Hsieh earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, in 2001. Following a 4‑year tenure as a PhD researcher at the Materials/Chemical Research Laboratories of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taiwan, he joined the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at Yuan Ze University, Taiwan, as a professor, where he continues to teach and research. From 2017 to 2020, he was a visiting professor in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Biomedical Engineering at
the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA, while concurrently holding a visiting scholar position at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, USA. His research focuses on two main areas: (1) nanomaterial synthesis using atomic layer deposition (ALD), microwave deposition, and infrared‑assisted methods and (2) energy storage applications,
including Li‑ion batteries, Na‑ion batteries, solid‑state batteries, electrochemical capacitors, and fuel cells.
