The new, English-language practical handbook provides clarity on the highly complex European data law.

Six directly applicable regulations, in conjunction with many other legal acts, create a thicket of data regulatory requirements and compliance requirements. The regulations on data access, exchange and use are also often at odds with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation.

This handbook explains in an accessible way the regulatory content of the individual regulations, to whom which legal act applies, what consequences result from this for whom, and how legal terms are to be interpreted in conformity with EU law and uniformly, as well as the new compliance requirements.
