He is an IEEE Fellow, a Fellow of the Electromagnetics Academy (USA) and CIE as well as being Chair of the IEEE Fellow Evaluation Committee (GRSS), a Member of IEEE GRSS AdCom, and Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing.
