This is the first reference work to present an overview of the interdisciplinary field of critical geography of education. Features a diverse range of theoretical and empirical studies from different regions of the world it shows how educational systems, institutions, practices and individuals within them, are closely connected with the geographies of their contexts. Each section closes with the chapter authors from that section drawing out key themes across their contexts. The handbook problematizes the place of geography in educational studies and engages critically with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
