Octavian Gabor examines the notions of truth, evil, and beauty at work in the writing of Fyodor Dostoevsky.

Venturing beyond philosophical ideas and exploring theological notions such as theandricity and theosis, Gabor evaluates Dostoevsky's key novels (The Idiot,Crime and Punishment, andBrothers Karamazov) and asserts that Dostoevsky, being influenced by Eastern Christian theology, constructed a personal notion of truth associated with the notion of beauty.
