Advances in Analog Circuit Design 2025

Bram Nauta | Kofi A. A. Makinwa | Andrea Baschirotto

Technology & Engineering / Electronics / Circuits / General

This book is based on the 18 tutorials presented during the 33rd workshop on Advances in Analog Circuit Design.  Expert designers present readers with information about a variety of topics at the frontier of analog circuit design, including low-power and energy-efficient analog electronics, with specific contributions focusing on the design of efficient sensor interfaces and low-power RF systems. This book serves as a valuable reference to the state-of-the-art, for anyone involved in analog circuit research and development.

Bram Nauta received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, in 1987 and 1991, respectively. In 1991, he joined the Mixed-Signal Circuits and Systems Department at Philips Research in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. In 1998, he returned to the University of Twente, where he is  a distinguished professor, leading the IC Design department

Kofi A. A. Makinwa received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, Nigeria, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, the M.E.E. degree from Philips International Institute, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 1989, and the Ph.D. degree from Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, in 2004. From 1989 to 1999, he was a Research Scientist at Philips Research Laboratories in Eindhoven. He then joined Delft University of Technology, where he is currently an Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Professor and the Head of the Microelectronics Department.

Andrea Baschirotto graduated in Electronic Engineering (summa cum laude) from the University of Pavia in 1989. In 1994, he received the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from the University of Pavia. In 1994, he joined the Department of Electronics, University of Pavia, as a Researcher (Assistant Professor). In 1998, he joined the Department of Innovation Engineering, University of Lecce, Italy, as an Associate Professor. In 2007, he joined the Department of Physics, University of Milan-Bicocca, Italy, as an Associate Professor, where he is now full professor and Director of the Microelectronics Group.
