Pioneering Engineered Security in the Quantum-Cyber Era

Pravir Malik

Computers / Artificial Intelligence / General

The book reframes cybersecurity as an engineering discipline grounded in structure rather than an arms race of secrets, tools, and telemetry. It brings QIQD into security practice as a geometry of trust: deep structure remains non-exportable, observable surfaces are governed, and evidence strengthens assurance without becoming a reconstruction path. Quantum no-go results become interface laws for controlled disclosure, continuity, and proof. PQC is the scalable cryptographic substrate, QKX/QKD a selective high-assurance link overlay, QRNG an entropy service, and QIQD-minted seeds the root authority.

Across four parts, the book moves from no-go theorems, projected uniqueness, qualified determinism, and commuting receipts to operational controls for integrity, uncertainty, and entanglement. It then develops PAR/MAR imprints, qibits, STEG-Fabric, task-restricted controllers, watchdog attestation, a quantum security chip, and the QCSDC simulator. The result is assurance by design.

Dr. Pravir Malik is a systems thinker, technologist, and author whose work bridges quantum computing, complex adaptive systems, and innovation strategy. He is the Founder and Chief Technologist of QIQuantum and a member of the Forbes Technology Council, where he leads the Council’s Quantum Computing community and contributes thought leadership on how quantum technologies will reshape computing architectures, cybersecurity, bioenergetics, and the future of resilient systems. Dr. Malik has published widely across technical and executive audiences, with over 50 publications in venues including IEEE, Springer Nature, and Forbes, and he has authored more than 30 books spanning quantum technology, complex systems, leadership, and organizational transformation. As a speaker and educator, Dr. Malik has delivered keynotes and presentations at Cambridge University, the University of California–Berkeley, Imperial College London, Cornell University, and the IBM Research Center, earning multiple Best Presentation and Best Paper awards. His professional journey also includes leadership roles spanning organizational sciences, sustainability, and strategy, applying systems thinking to real-world challenges in culture, performance, and innovation. Dr. Malik holds a Ph.D. in Technology Management from the University of Pretoria, specializing in the Mathematics of Innovation in Complex Adaptive Systems. He also earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, an M.S. in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from the University of Florida, and a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. A global citizen who has lived and worked across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the United States, he brings a cross-cultural perspective to building technologies that are structurally resilient, ethically grounded, and oriented toward human flourishing. He continues to lead and contribute to cross-disciplinary advancements in quantum technology and welcomes meaningful collaboration with those shaping the next frontiers of science.
