Bahman Massoumi Nejad
Bahman Massoumi Nejad is a materials scientist and cement technology specialist with over 20 years of experience in multiple cement plants across Iran, currently working at West Asia Cement Factory. He holds a master’s degree in chemistry from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman and combines strong laboratory skills with extensive industrial practice in cement production. His work focuses on raw-mix design, kiln and preheater operation, and troubleshooting, with an emphasis on process optimization and plant performance. He also specializes in the exploration and characterization of clays, kaolin, and other mineral resources for use in conventional cements and LC3 systems. His research interests include sustainable binders, calcined clay-based cements, geopolymer systems, and clinker substitution.

Sedigheh Zirjani Zadeh
Sedigheh Zirjani Zadeh holds a PhD in Economic Geology from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and is currently an Assistant Professor at Gonabad University. She has authored over forty scientific research and conference papers in national and international venues. Her research focuses on ore mineral exploration, geochemistry, hydrothermal alteration, epithermal mineral deposits, and the application and exploration of clay minerals. She has conducted extensive field and laboratory studies related to mineralization processes and has published an academic book in the field of clay mineral exploration and applications. In addition to her research activities, she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in mineralogy, remote sensing, economic geology, and related geoscience subjects.

Reza Farazmand
Reza Farazmand is a cement specialist at Kerman Cement Industries Group, focusing on LC3 systems, clinker substitution, and durability of concrete. He has led multiple industrial and research projects on Ordinary Portland Cement, oil well cement, white cement, composite cement, and slag cement to improve both strength and durability while reducing the cement’s carbon footprint. His scientific focus lies in cement chemistry, particularly in the development and activation of supplementary cementitious materials. His interdisciplinary work supports advancements in construction materials, aggregate and concrete durability. He holds an MSc in Inorganic Chemistry from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran.
