Regenerative and Circular Fashion Systems

Subramanian Senthilkannan Muthu

Science / Environmental Science

This book offers a variety of cases dealing with regenerative and circular systems in fashion. In a waste-heavy field such as textiles, it is imperative that academics and practitioners stay up to date with the latest in theory and techniques related to making fashion more sustainable. The cases here cover such topics as biomaterials, indigenous knowledge systems, circular design strategies, and means to keep existing clothes in circulation for a longer time. The chapters here look toward actively restoring ecosystems rather than just reducing harm.
