Remco Leine is Full Professor of Nonlinear Mechanics and Director of the Institute for Nonlinear Mechanics at the University of Stuttgart. His research centers on nonlinear dynamics and nonsmooth dynamical systems, with particular expertise in stability theory, friction-induced vibrations, bifurcations, and multibody systems with impact and friction. Combining a distinguished international research career with a lasting influence on the field of nonlinear mechanics, he is actively engaged in teaching and mentoring students in mechanics and dynamical systems, bringing deep expertise in both theoretical foundations and the art of mathematical modeling to his role as a lecturer.
