Vincenzo Maria Romeo is a psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and sexologist. He is a researcher in Dynamic and Clinical Psychology at the Department of Cultures and Societies, University of Palermo, Italy. He is also Scientific Director of the School of Specialization in Psychoanalytic and Group-Analytic Psychotherapy (SPPG) in Reggio Calabria. His research integrates clinical, psychodynamic, neuroscientific, and sociocultural perspectives, with a particular focus on subjectivation, digital mental health, psychopathology, addiction, eating disorders, emotion dysregulation, sexuality, and the psychological development of younger generations in post-digital environments.
