The prime purpose and need of this book is to reveal to the space enthusiast what may be the future in the world of space. It gives new insight into key trends in not only space technology, but also the business, the economic, as well as the legal, social, medical and health-related issues of living-in-space. It even provides insights about what advances in AI, “smart robots” and other space-related systems might bring in the next two decades. Some of these space-related trends might even help humans live here on Earth on a more sustainable basis.

Dr. Joseph N. Pelton is the Chair of the Alliance for Collaboration in the Exploration of  Space, ACES Worldwide www.acesworldwide.org. He is a Pultizer Prize nominated author who has won the several literary awards from Astronautics related groups. He has written over 70 books and hundreds of his articles and many books are listed on the Springer Nature site. He has just been selected for the top award for contributions in the Social Sciences (economics, legal, policy, and regulations, standards, health and education) by the International Academy of Astronautics of which he is a full member. He is the Dean Emeritus and the past Chairman of the Board, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the International Space University, former head of Research institutes at George Washington University (SACRI) and the University of Colorado-Boulder where he was head of academic programs in the telecommunications and space with the rank of Professor. He has also served as adjunct or visiting professor at the University of Capetown and American University in Washington, D.C. In addition he has lectured all over the world in dozens of countries and at over twenty different universities in the U.S. and abroad. In his earlier career he served as an intern in the Office of International Affairs at NASA and held positions at Nort American Aviation, the Comsat Corporation, and Intelsat where he was Director of Strategic Planning and head "Project SHARE" He was the Founder of the Arthur C. Clarke Foundation, what is now called the Space and Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) and played a key role in the start of the International Space University. He co-founded the Alliance for Collaboration in the Exploration of Space (ACES Worldwide) in 2021and.
