Mohamed Aslam is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Tourism Management at the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, where he is also the Director of the Centre for Research and Knowledge Dissemination. She has a doctoral degree on economics and studies the macroeconomic effects of tourism and determinants of tourism demand. She is also interested in tour planning, global distribution systems, and cultural heritage.
Norain Othman is Associate Professor in the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. Her research focuses on tourism management, tourism marketing, event management, heritage tourism and Islamic tourism.
Alan A. Lew is Professor Emeritus at Northern Arizona University, USA. He is the founding editor-in-chief of the Tourism Geographies journal and his interests and writings focus on tourism across East and Southeast Asia.
