This book presents the select proceedings of the International Conference on Physics and Chemistry of Materials, ICPCM 2025, covering a wide range of materials of scientific and technological importance. 

The papers included here provide insights into the latest developments in the field of physics and chemistry of materials, such as condensed matter physics, nanomaterials, polymers, solar energy, semiconductors, and other functional materials. The nanocrystallization of materials has significantly improved their mechanical, physical, and chemical properties, which makes them more suitable for technological applications and the miniaturisation of electronic devices. Solar materials, hydrogen fuel cells, and thermoelectric materials are capable of producing green energy and fulfilling the emergent energy requirements of a technologically dominant world. Susheel Kalia is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry at the Army Cadet College Wing of Indian Military Academy Dehradun, India. He was awarded the GOC-in-C Commendation by the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Army Training Command, Shimla. Dr. Kalia was a visiting researcher in the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering at the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2013 and held a position as an assistant professor in different Universities in India until 2015. He has published more than 100 research articles in international journals along with multiple books and book chapters. Dr. Kalia has guided many MPhil. and Ph.D. students and delivered many invited talks at national and international conferences. Dr. Kalia serves as the series editor for the 'Springer Series on Polymer and Composite Materials' book series published by Springer Nature.

Dr. Kamal Kumar Choudhary is currently serving as Professor and Head Faculty of Science at the Army Cadet College, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. He holds M.Sc., M.Tech., Ph.D., and D.Sc. degrees. He has made significant contributions to the fields of materials science, superconductivity, nanotechnology, and thermoelectric materials. Dr. Choudhary has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the ISCA Young Scientist Award presented by the President of India Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam (2006); Dr. C. V. Raman Teachers Excellence Award (2007); AICTE Career Award for Young Teachers (2004); AAPPS Best Paper Prize by International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (Japan, 2012); MP Young Scientist Award (2003). He has led and collaborated on several government-funded research projects. He has published over 100 research papers in various International and National journals, proceedings and books to his credit. He has edited and authored books and conference proceedings in materials science and related disciplines. He is an active member of several scientific committees and academic bodies and has organized and chaired various conferences and technical sessions across the world and visited visited USA, UK, Australia, Hon-Kong, Francs, Netherlands, China, Japan, Israel, South Korea, Malesia, Italy and Ukraine.

Dr. Netram Kaurav is an Assistant Professor at Department of Physics, Govt. Holkar Science College, Indore, India. He obtained his B.Sc. (Hon’s) from Excellence College, Bhopal, India, and M.Sc. degrees in physics fom Barkatullah University, Bhopal, India. He received his Ph.D. in physics (2006) from Devi Ahilya University, Indore, India, and then started his post-doctoral assignment in the group of Prof. Y. -K. Kuo at National Dong Hwa University, Hualien, Taiwan till 2009. He is the recipient of Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) Young Scientist award for Physical Sciences (2007) and MP Young Scientist award, Physical Sciences, 2005. He has published more than 150 journal papers in his research fields. He is also engaged in various research projects from UGC-DAE CSR, Indore, DST, New Delhi and MPCST, Bhopal.
