Dr. Jitendra Kumar Katiyar holds the position of an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Research Impact & Outcome (CRIO), Chitkara University, Punjab, India. Additionally, he holds the position of local coordinator for the Global Initiative of Academic Network (GIAN) program started by the Ministry of Education at Chitkara University. He has 11 years of total teaching and research experience. His research interest includes modern manufacturing techniques, tribology of carbon materials, polymer composites, self-lubricating polymers, lubrication tribology, and coatings for advanced technologies. He obtained his bachelor's degree from UPTU Lucknow with Honours in 2007. He received his master's from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 2010 and his Ph.D. from the same institution in 2017. He is a life member of the Tribology Society of India, the Malaysian Society of Tribology, the Institute of Engineers, India, and The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
Prof. Andreas Rosenkranz is a Professor for materials-oriented tribology and new 2D materials in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology and Materials (University of Chile). His research focuses on the characterization, chemical functionalization and application of new 2D materials. His main field of research relates to tribology, but in the last few years, he has expanded his fields of interest towards water purification, catalysis and biological properties. He has published more than 190 peer-reviewed journal publications, is a fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and is a scientific editor for well-reputed scientific journals including Applied Nanoscience and Frontiers of Chemistry.
Prof. Harish Hirani holds the position of a Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi, India. Previously, he served as the Director of CSIR-CMERI from 2016 to 2022 and as the Vice Chairman of JEE Advanced, IIT Delhi, from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, he contributed as a Member of Monitoring & Advising Committees in the Government of India schemes such as CSIR, SERB, SATHI, among others. With a focus on eco-friendly waste management, waste-to-energy technologies, automatic waste segregation and resource recovery, Prof. Hirani has successfully translated 15 technologies to 55 MSMEs. His efforts extend to addressing hazardous compounds in drinking water.
