Dr. Ramesh Raju is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in production engineering from National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli and possesses extensive academic and industrial experience, including contributions to the software sector. His research interests include advanced material processing, laser machining, additive manufacturing, and smart manufacturing technologies. Dr. Ramesh Raju is actively involved in several externally funded research projects supported by government and industrial agencies and is an active member of various international professional societies. He has published more than 75 research articles in reputed international journals and conferences and holds several patents in the areas of mechanical design, automation, and advanced manufacturing systems.

Dr.-Ing. M. Duraiselvam is a Professor (HAG) in the Department of Production Engineering at National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli. He previously served as Dean (Planning and Development) and has held several key administrative positions, including Head of the Centre of Excellence in Manufacturing and Head of the Department of Production Engineering. He earned his doctoral degree from Clausthal University of Technology under the prestigious DAAD Fellowship program. His research expertise spans laser materials processing, surface engineering, additive manufacturing, computational manufacturing, and smart production systems. Dr. Duraiselvam has successfully led numerous high-value research and development projects funded by organizations such as DRDO, DST, GTRE, and BHEL. He is currently serving as the Principal Investigator for a major DRDO-funded (2.25 crore INR) project on robotic-based continuous fiber additive manufacturing. A distinguished researcher and academic leader, he has authored more than 100 publications in reputed international journals and conference proceedings.

Dr. A. Arockiarajan is a Professor in the Department of Applied Mechanics at Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He received his Master of Engineering degree from PSG College of Technology and completed his Ph.D. in computational mechanics at University of Kaiserslautern. His research areas include computational mechanics, smart materials and structures, composite materials, biomaterials, and multiscale modelling. He heads the Smart Material Characterization (SMC) Laboratory at IIT Madras, which focuses on advanced theoretical, computational, and experimental research on active and intelligent material systems. Dr. Arockiarajan has made substantial contributions to the field through more than 200 peer-reviewed publications, several book chapters, and multiple patents. In addition to his academic and research activities, he collaborates extensively with industries as a consultant and has also founded a technology startup aimed at addressing societal and industrial challenges through innovative engineering solutions.
