Dr. Ajay Kumar obtained his Ph.D in Signal processing from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. He is currently Director of Instruments Research & Development Establishment (IRDE), DRDO, Dehradun. He has wide knowledge and experience in the design, development, product realization, integration of electro optical systems. He is an expert in the area of signal and image processing.
Dr. Sudhir Khare is presently working as Scientist ‘G’ at the Instruments Research and Development Establishment, DRDO, Dehradun. He has been engaged in research, design and development in the area of thermal imaging for last 30 years. His research interests include System Design, IR Signal Processing and Performance Evaluation of Thermal Imaging Systems.
Dr. Shriganesh S. Prabhu completed his PhD in Physics from TIFR, Mumbai, India. Currently he is Professor of Physics in TIFR, Mumbai. His Research Interests include Ultrafast (Femtosecond) Time Resolved Phenomena in Materials, THz Spectroscopy of Materials, Design and study of Metamaterials, Generation of High field THz and Near Field THz Microscopy of metamaterials and natural materials. He has developed new designs of femtosecond laser pulse driven THz sources and detectors, and stan alone THz detectors. He has also demonstrated THz imaging.
Nimish Dixit obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, Mumbai, India. He is currently leading Terahartz Group of Instruments R&D Establishment (IRDE), Dehradun, India which is an establishment of Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), India. He has been engaged in the research & development in the field of nonlinear frequency conversion to Mid-IR tunable wavelengths and Terahertz wavelengths. Recently, his group has ventured into the development of THz imaging systems.
Ajay Mishra obtained his Masters Degree in Physics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Varanasi. He has experience of working as a Scientist in Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) for about 20 Years. His areas of research is in the field of Non-linear Optics, Terahertz Technology and Terahertz Imaging. He has also been involved in the design & development of periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) and nonlinear frequency conversion using PPLN.
Pooja Dhill currently working as a scientist at the Instruments Research and Development Establishment, DRDO, Dehradun. Her current focused area is Terahertz-based research and imaging, millimetre wave applications & antennas, and engaged in the screening systems development.
