This book offers a novel approach to academic writing, tailored explicitly for graduate and doctoral students, junior researchers, and professors in the field of management science. Unlike existing textbooks that predominantly focus on language skills such as wording, cohesion, coherence, and syntax, this book delves into the underlying logic of writing research articles within the management science discipline. The book introduces a comprehensive methodology for constructing research articles based on the intrinsic principles of management science studies. Key topics, including motivating a research question, justifying the model setting, and extracting and refining managerial insights, are explored through the deconstruction of articles following a skilled and magical craftsmanship roadmap, which guides readers in understanding and mastering the craftsmanship of writing high-quality research papers. This book stands out as a pioneering book that bridges the gap between the technical aspects of academic writing and the specific requirements of writing in management science. It promises to be an indispensable resource for developing the next generation of researchers in the business and management fields.
