Innovative Transcatheter and Hybrid Procedures for Structural Heart and Aortic Disease
Mao Chen | Jichun Zhao | Yi-Min Hua | Zhong Wu | Yuan Feng | Qiao Li | Jun Shi
This volume offers practical guidance on four procedures that address challenging cardiovascular conditions, including transcatheter pulmonary and tricuspid valve replacement, hybrid repair of thoracoabdominal aortic dissecting aneurysms, percutaneous ventricular septal defect closure, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement for pure aortic regurgitation.
Readers will learn how to assess patient suitability, develop procedural strategies, navigate technical challenges, and interpret expert recommendations for complex cases. Organized around operative workflows and clinical decision points, each section translates specialist experience into actionable knowledge that can support procedural planning and clinical management.
Combining case-based perspectives with detailed technical discussions, this resource serves as a valuable reference for cardiovascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, structural heart specialists, and trainees seeking comprehensive guidance on contemporary transcatheter and hybrid therapies.
