This edited collection takes aninterdisciplinary approach to analyzing cultural narratives surrounding menstruation, period shaming and bodily regulation. The collection of 10-14 chapters is divided into four sections: Menstruating Bodies, Global Perspectives, Material Menstruation, and Representations of Menstruation.The essays in the collection interrogate Eurocentric rhetorics about bodies, advocate for inclusive medical practices, and push back against transphobic discourses around menstruating bodies.
