Nancy Odegaard, PhD, is Conservator-Professor Emerita at the Arizona State Museum, University of Arizona. For over 45 years, she has led major projects involving survey, tribal consultation, research, and treatment for museum collections. As the author of many books, chapters, and articles, she has taught classes and workshops throughout the world.

Alyce Sadongei (Kiowa/Tohono O'odham) is the executive director of Mission Garden agricultural museum. She worked at the University of Arizona, Arizona State Museum, American Indian Language Development Institute, Smithsonian Institution Office of Museum Programs and the National Museum of the American Indian.

Kate Compton-Gore, PhD, is the NAGPRA Training Coordinator for the National NAGPRA Program and serves on the NAGPRA team at the Museum of Northern Arizona. Her work focuses on NAGPRA policy, repatriation, and the challenges contaminated cultural items present to repatriation efforts and the health implications for Indigenous communities.
